Clallam netWorks EDC held its Annual Celebration honoring 2004 Officers and Cluster volunteers on January 20th. Executive Director Jim Haguewood highlighted the EDC's achievements and activities of 2004. Bill Hermann was awarded the "Olympic Leader Award" for 2004. Maury Forman, author, humorist, and Director of Education and Training for the Department of Trade and Economic Development was the featured speaker. Washington State’s Department of Community Trade and Economic Development announced the award of a $50,000 Bridge Grant to Clallam netWorks today. The funds will link Clallam netWorks, the Counties Economic Development program with WorkFirst in Clallam and Jefferson Counties. The resulting relationship between the two will facilitate communication, cooperation and collaboration necessary to enhance education and training opportunities for WorkFirst participants. more...

On the 15th and 16th of September members of the Pacific Aquaculture Caucus held their 4th annual meeting at Neah Bay 2004 and Port Angeles in a two day session. San Juan Airlines offers more flights and reduced airfares!
Effective May 7, San Juan Airlines will be offering six roundtrip flights daily to and from Port Angeles. On average, the flights will depart every two and one-half hours, beginning at 6:00 a.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m. Additionally, the airfare will be available as low as $49.00 per person each way, including all taxes and fees. For seniors (62 or older) and children (ages 2 to 11), all flights will be available for the $49.00 fare. more...
