The EDC partners with other agencies to provide individual business counseling to assist new and existing businesses. Counselors have a broad range of experiences and are provided through the following:
SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) provides free, individual counseling for start-up and existing businesses. For local assistance, contact the EDC at 360-457-7793. Counseling is available by appointment.
SBDC (Washington State University's Small Business Development Center) provides free, individual counseling to assist new and existing businesses with business planning, market development, financing and management. Washington Manufacturing Service (WMS) is a not-for-profit organization with a goalto help make Washington business, and especially, manufacturers, more competitive. WMS has the ability to link manufacturers with both local expertise and hard-to-access national resources.
The EDC provides economic and demographic information to serve business needs. The annual Clallam County Community Profile is a compilation of economic indicators, employment, industry, real estate, taxes and income data. The Community Profile includes census data and is updated annually with local data.
